I purchased Mi tv from flipkart and they sent Jeeves support person for installation who told us about the extended warranty. I purchased it for Rs. ****.
After a defect I raised an support complaint and sent an engineer to inspect. Engineer told it can't be repaired.
June *th - Mail from Jeeves:
Reason for Refund : Panel Issue ( Non economical repair case ) and told mount will be refunded after receiving the defective product and asked to share my bank details.
June *th - I acknowledged and shared bank details on *th June in a cancelled cheque format via email.
June **th - Mail from Jeeves: Bank details received, unit will be picked up within ** hrs and service person will provide acknowledgement and once product received amount will be refunded in *-* days.
Due to covid product was picked on July **th and service engineer did not provide acknowledgement. I took a photocopy of the charge sheet he had. I did not received refund after ** days also and regularly called and checked refund status and they said they will look into it. Kind of same reply from customer support person as trained.
On **th August I spoke to a customer representative who told amount was transferred on **th July and gave me a transaction reference number. I have been calling them regularly for * weeks but no one mentioned amount was transferred.
August **th - Mail from Jeeves:Refund was done on **th July and gave a different transaction reference number.
August **st - I sent a mail with my July bank statement as per their request. Then I received mail stating I will get the refund in *-* days
They had a complaint tracking page and they closed my complaint and now it is showing record not found.
I called them again on **th OCT and they again saying same thing that the issue was escalated to concerned team and will get back.
They have told this for at least ** times in last * months.
When I contacted flipkart support they say I did not purchase extended warranty from flipkart and its your wish if you want to give a complaint on Jeeves.
I even tweeted my issue and asked flipkart and MI support that why you are partnering with a company who cheat customers in the name of extended warranty. MI replied they will report the incident to the concerned team. Only god knows if that happened.
