Subject: Non-receipt of Refund from Swiggy Instamart for Returned Order
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing this to formally raise a consumer complaint against Swiggy Instamart for not processing my refund even after the return of the item was successfully completed.
Details of the Issue:
Order Number: ***************
Item Ordered: ON Creatine
Date of Purchase: **th June ****
Return Date: *st July ****
Reason for Return: The product failed authentication on the brand’s official website, raising serious concerns about its quality and authenticity.
Following Swiggy’s process, I:
*. Submitted the NEFT refund form with correct bank details as requested.
*. Was assured by the delivery executive and support team that the refund would be processed within * working days post pickup.
However, it has now been well over the promised period and:
No refund has been credited to my account.
On contacting Swiggy customer support again, I was informed that the refund was “processed,” but no transaction reference number or payment details were shared despite my request.
I was advised to email instamartsupport@swiggy.in with my bank statement, which I promptly did — four times over the past three days. Till date, I have received no response, no acknowledgment, and no resolution.
This lack of accountability and transparency is unacceptable from a company of Swiggy’s stature. It has caused both financial and mental distress.
Relief Sought:
Immediate processing of my refund with proof of transaction shared.
An explanation for the delay and complete negligence in handling customer grievances.
Assurance that such harassment of regular consumers does not repeat in the future.
I request the forum to take strict action against Swiggy Instamart and direct them to resolve this matter at the earliest.
