Amazon - Refund not issued by an Amazon seller Amazon customer service isn t helping with fruitful results

Item ordered on ** Oct **, dispatched by seller on ** Oct ** and I filed a cancellation request on ** Oct **. The seller replied that he couldn't cancel the item and he would charge me the * way courier charges and refund the money once he receives the product back. I received the order on ** Oct ** and denied to receive it. Since then Seller is mentioning that he hasn't received the order back yet. Amazon kept giving false accusations that the refund would be initiated within * working days, everytime I called them for the refund. Amazon also advised that a full refund would be initiated and no courier charges would be deducted since I chose to cancel the product. However until now the seller is adamant and mentioning that the product hasn't been received by him and he would charge me the * way courier charges. No refund has been initiated as I write this complaint. Several calls and chats with Amazon has highly taken up my mental and person time space. I would request that this is resolved at the earliest opportunity.
