SANCHIT JAIN filed complaint against IRCTC on Aug 1, 2019
I made a train booking through irctc.Co.In platform for my journey on July **, ****. On **th July I received a message saying that my train was cancelled. I verified the information via '***' helpline number.
They confirmed that the train was cancelled and I will receive a refund for it. But it is *st August and I have not received any refund regarding the cancelled train. When I called irctc customer care number they said your train was not fully cancelled and it was partially cancelled. This was not told to me when I verified about the cancellation. Now they are saying that you had to file a TDR within ** hours of train's departure time otherwise your money is gone in such a case.
Now when they did not mention that train is not fully cancelled how would I know that I have to file a TDR. I want a complete refund for this transaction as it is a mistake from the side of irctc. PNR: **********
