I placed a prepaid order for flats from Achho Jaipur. Immediately after placing the order, I requested cancellation due to a change in delivery address. However, the cancellation process was extremely difficult, and despite sending multiple emails and trying to contact customer care several times through calls, I received no proper response.
After continuously following up through Instagram messages, I was finally informed that no refund would be provided after cancellation and that only a gift card would be issued instead. This was against the information mentioned on their website, where it was clearly stated that immediate cancellation would be eligible for a refund. Still, I accepted their decision and agreed to receive the gift card.
Later, the company generated and sent me a gift card. However, when I tried to use it on their website, it showed “invalid.” I immediately contacted the company again through WhatsApp, Instagram, Gmail, and other available platforms and also shared screenshots as proof. Despite repeated follow-ups, I did not receive any proper assistance or resolution.
The company repeatedly kept stating that the gift card had already been generated, without understanding or addressing the actual issue that the gift card provided by them was invalid and unusable. Even after sending multiple messages and explaining the problem clearly several times, I still have not received any valid response, replacement gift card, or refund.
This has caused significant inconvenience, frustration, and mental stress. Firstly, my refund was denied despite immediate cancellation, and secondly, the alternative gift card provided by the company is invalid and unusable. The customer support has been highly unresponsive and negligent throughout the process.
I request appropriate action against the company and kindly ask for a proper refund of my prepaid amount along with resolution of this issue at the earliest.
