I made an order of * oversized T-shirts on their site on ** April using a coupon. No update till ** April, and as of ** April, they have cancelled the order, and they have refunded it to the in-site wallet, which was not the original payment method.
The issue concerns the refund that was processed incorrectly, as the amount was credited to the in-site wallet instead of being returned to the original payment method used for the transaction, i.e., UPI. This is not acceptable, as refunds are expected to be reversed back to the source of payment unless explicitly chosen otherwise by the user. There was no consent or request made to receive the refund in the wallet, and this creates unnecessary inconvenience, especially if the original payment was made through a UPI, where the funds are needed. This also limits the usability of the refunded amount, forcing it to be spent within the site. Therefore, the refund should be reversed and credited back to the original payment method immediately, and steps should be taken to ensure such issues do not occur again in the future.
Also, there are many problems related to their site, such as not a single contact number is valid, whether the numbers are provided on the site or on the Instagram page. They don't even reply to the dm.
