Divesh singh Rajawat filed complaint against Air India Express on Apr 14, 2020
I made a booking on Air India Express's official website from Abu Dhabi-Delhi on *st March **** via my credit card but due to some reason I had to cancel it and I called the airline to cancel my ticket (same day i.e *st March) and process the refund. They have informed me that I will be charged with cancellation fees and I will get my refund within ** working days. As they have not processed my refund I have tried to call them but they didn't respond to my calls and I even tried to write them over their email but over there as well I didn't receive any response. On **rd March India announced it's lockdown and since then they are making an excuse that because of lockdown they can not process my refund and now today India again extended it's lockdown till *rd May now because of their delay I am getting my credit card bills and my bills are due if I do not pay them my cibil will be hit and If I choose not to pay for * months as per RBI guideline I still have to pay the interest for that particular period. I am tired of calling them and writing them again and again but they just don't respond I even tried to write on twitter and tagged Air India but there as well nothing happened Now I don't know what should I do or how should I proceed further. Kindly help me a way out if possible.
