Kushagra Kasbi filed complaint against Spice Jet Airlines on Jul 18, 2020
*. I have booked tickets (for myself and my wife) PNR: X*KY*S from Mumbai to Kochi with SpiceJet with travel date: **th February ****.
*. And I have booked return tickets from Kochi to Mumbai PNR: DHG**J with Indigo dated **th February ****.
*. As my in laws had same vacation, I had booked tickets from them from Indore to Kochi dated **th February **** PNR: LDWRRY with Indigo.
*. Their return tickets were booked from Thiruvananthapuram to Indore dated **th February **** PNR: OJ*ZPJ.
*. Due to pandemic in Kerala in February ****, we had to cancel our plan and we initiated cancellation of all the flight bookings on **th and **th February **** with both Indigo and Spice Jet.
*. Taking our request and prevailing condition into consideration Indigo airlines with immediate effect had refunded our full amount paid to them for all the bookings we had with them i.e. PNR: DHG**J, LDWRRY, OJ*ZPJ.
*. SpiceJet had cancelled our booking and deducted **** INR and only refunded approx..*,*** out of our full payment i.e. Rs.****
*. I have sent mail to SpiceJet on **th February **** to refund my cancellation amount as there was pandemic situation in Kochi and we did not want to travel in such danger.
*. On **th February ****, they had declined our refund request for refund.
**. Again, on **th February ****, I had sent proof of full refund which we had received from Indigo with SpiceJet and they agreed to provide us with credit voucher.
**. On *th March ****, SpiceJet had shared credit voucher ***************** \ ***************** amount **** each with us amount ****/- each validity **rd August ****.
**. On **th April ****, I had sent a mail to SpiceJet requesting time extension for our credit voucher due to outbreak of this pandemic, we had requested their consent in extending the impending time bar by ** months up to and including **rd August **** in order to allow sufficient time for making our travel plans after this pandemic.
**. SpiceJet had provided *-year credit voucher to those passengers who had cancelled their tickets during this pandemic.
**. Airlines were not in operations from **th March **** to **th May **** for almost * months.
**. Till date SpiceJet has not considered our request for credit voucher extension nor giving us any refund amount.
**. We have had enough rejection from them and now we want refund of our full amount paid to them **** INR.
**. My request to Voxya team to send a STRICT mail to SpiceJet for refunding our full amount i.e. **** INR otherwise if no positive revert received within one week we will be sending them a legal notice and filing a case against them in consumer court.

I am very pleased with Voxya. They helped me resolve my issue without much hassle. Very impressed and satisfied.
