** Jan, **** we booked a flight to fly on ** May, **** and return on * Jun, **** amounting to INR *,**,*** from Dubai to Mangalore and return via personal credit card. Due to covid ** situation we received an email on *th May saying that all flights have been cancelled and request to rebook online from the Air India Express Portal. We tried to rebook the flight but the flights status up to December **, **** showed as not available. Hence we waited and cancelled the flight online to request for refund around **th May (before the flight date). We have been following up via email to customer support but we receive with a reply saying that "your refund is under process". We are already in the end of July **** now and still following up for the refund. We would like to return home and this can be done only after receiving refund from Air India Express.
Many thanks for your proactive approach and prompt action. This has accelerated and helped in resolving my issue.
