Ayush Chawla filed complaint against Goibibo on Mar 5, 2021
I booked To & fro flight journey tickets for my parents from Vizag to Bengaluru for dates **th Feb & **th Feb **** respectively. The tickets were booked through Go Ibibo for Flights Air Asia ( **th Feb) & Indigo ( **th feb). PNR of the journey is : R*IZXW. Emai ID and phone no. used for booking are of my father, i.e . Sri Laxman Chawla. Email- laxmanchawla****@yahoo.com, Mobile- **********. On **th jan **** , I received message from Air Asia that the Vizag to Benagluru flight is cancelled due to so and so reasons and gave me options to reschedule flight or opt for refund. I contacted Go Ibibo for the same and my refund request was initiated. I also got a call from Air Asia Vizag same day and they asked me to choose one of the options. I told them to initiate the refund. On **th Feb, I received message from Air Asia that the refund has been initiated and that it will be reflected in account within * days. After waiting for ** days , I started contacting Go Ibibo & Air Asia for the same. Go Ibibo told they have not received any amount from the Air Lines and asked me to wait for * more weeks. I was unable to contact Air Asia that time. After * weeks, I contacted Air Asia somehow and was told that refund has already been processed on **th Feb and they shared one reference ID for the transaction. When I informed this to Go Ibibo, they still declined that they have not received any amount. After sharing the reference ID of Air Asia, they showed me that they are escalating the issue but of no use. Every time I call them, new executive answers and I have to explain everything to him with of no use. Even complaining to Go Ibibo Fb and twitter didnt work as these cheats are being hired for looting us. I request Voxya to escalate my issue and get my refund back. I will be very greatful to you.
