On **th April I booked a Tatkal ticket for
myself and my father for my journey from kacheguda to Bangalore travelling on **th April, *nd AC .I got alloted * tickets on waiting list .
We were going to Bangalore for a funeral and with senior citizen I can't take a risk on waiting list. SO I booked another tatkal ticket in a different train and secured a confirmed ticket.
Post that I cancelled the waitlisted tickets at **.** am ( status wl * & *) which is entitled for full refund.
When I approached IRCTC they are stating that in their system it's showing tickets are confirmed when I cancelled but they are the customer facing portal is showing waitlisted. They are denying the refund stating that it is showing tickets confirmed for them and ignoring to acknowledge the snapshot of ticket status which I was sharing. I have already stated this for more than ** email and their response is still the same and are not providing any means to escalate.
My two years of blood & sweat got valued finally with Voxya. I got a full refund with no hustle after they received notice.
