Yatra.com - Refund denied by Yatra - had to cancel due to landslide

I had booked a hotel in Munnar for **th Aug. Due to the current Kerala situation, I had to cancel my trip to Kochi. Out of Rs ****, Yatra refunded **** only. Since this was a genuine case, they refused outright to refund my entire money. They told me I should have called prior to cancelling the tickets. But I did the same with my flight booking and they have informed that if the situation is same during my flight timing, they will look for refund. This is outright cheating as there was no means I could have made the trip. They should have proactively refunded my money.
