Medha Gupta filed complaint against Myntra on Jan 3, 2022
I ordered a jacket from Myntra. I received the leather jacket with a Myntra sticker on it. When I tried to remove the sticker stuck directly on the leather, it was obvious that it was going to leave behind some damage so I immediately left it there and filed for a return. When the executive came to pick up the order, he informed me about the damage and the fact that customer care would contact me. No one contacted me and when I called them on my own, they simply just inform me that my return request has been rejected due to the damage since they delivered a perfect jacket to me. Ofcourse they claim there was no damage to the jacket, why else would they ship it to me. All my tags are intact, I have never worn the jacket. What am I supposed to do with it now? They refuse to take it back. How is it my fault and how does one ensure the transparency of their return process in case of damaged goods. They simply state that they shipped a quality tested product, so where are the pictures? Where is the proof? How is the customer liable for the damaged products shipped by the company itself? This is so unfair! I was so excited to wear the jacket out for New Years Eve but instead I was stuck fighting and pleading with the Myntra staff.
