Had purchased an AC of Carrier brand, within * days we logged complaint against cooling not working in the AC. The technician identify it as Gas leakage. The solution provided after ** days after proper identification as gas leakage. After a week of usage the gas again got vanished and AC starts causing trouble again. The technician was called again and on * hours of detailed examination he found there was a hole on AC coil shouldering part. He also confessed it as a manufacturing defect and asked to follow up the case with the store itself. Store being greedy they just want to take out everything from the brand itself so they follow up in this process. The brand denied for the refund / replace of the product and only agreed on repairing the parts. Being a customer who has purchased a completely brand new product why would we accept repair of the product since we had logged the first complaint within * days. It should be stores responsibility to get the product changed if found faulty. Now we are asking for the extended warranty but still they don't want to offer that as a compensation.
