This is to highlight and seek further assistance for the product replacement complaint filed.
My father purchase a laptop Model: Notebook PC Pavillion **dh****TU x***hp.
After just * hours of usage when the laptop was plugged in for charging, it began to heat up and a crack developed on the screen.
The complaint process was followed and a technician was assigned who checked and confirmed the issue was internal damage.
The team when now contacted says that the DOA has rejected the request for replacement of the product mentioning 'Reason:- This seems to be a transit damage .Hence the case cannot be processed under DOA, also please follow the transit route.'
The screen replacement will further cost me ***** INR
I wish to get the replacement for the unit as damage was since the time of purchase and did not happen at home.
Buying a laptop this expensive and experiencing this trauma is bit too much to handle.
