Priya filed complaint against Goibibo on May 15, 2019
On April **, ****, I booked a cab through GOIBIBO website from Coimbatore airport to Ooty. But when one and a half hour ago I contacted the driver for confirmation, he showed issue regarding payment from customer care side. I immediately informed on their customer contact number regarding the issue and told them to resolve the issue or provide me with another driver. But they till last assured me that the same driver will come to pick me as issue had been resolved. But on the scheduled time when I contacted the driver, he refused to come. When I complained against this on their customer support number they also replied very irresponsibly, "We can’t provide any driver now, please find another alternative." At an unknown place between unknown peoples, their bad service left me only with mood off, tension and worries. I went on my honeymoon but that time their bad service spoiled all the mood and joys because I was waiting for their cab for more than an hour. I asked for compensation as to refund my booking amount (Rs ***) as well as to pay the money which I had paid to next alternative cab (Rs ****) because it was their service fault.
I have contacted Goibibo customer care and management through calls, messages and emails so many time but initially, they never gave satisfactory reply and now they didn't pay any heed to my emails so never reply. When I complain against them at nation consumer forum they just gave me an offer to refund my booking amount and to give **** non-promotional Gocash. I told them to give all amount in INR in my account instead of Gocash but neither they refund anything till now nor reply to any of my mail. I want you to take strict action against them for such bad services, complaint handling and negligence. I also request you to help me to recover my loss of Rs **** (Rs ***+ Rs ****).
