I was associated with Project ID: WF ******* (Decorport, Whitefield, Bangalore). I signed a Sales Agreement with Decorpot on March **, ****. I am writing to express my frustration and disappointment with the handling of this project since its initiation. The actual commitment by Design Team Manager was ** May ****, in the confirmed email.
Despite repeated commitments from your sales, design, and project teams, the project has been delayed by nearly * months beyond the originally committed timeline.
I have multiple pieces of evidence — including email exchanges, WhatsApp messages, and voice recordings — that highlight false assurances and misleading commitments regarding the project's delivery.
Key Concerns:
Emotional and Financial Strain:
As a single earner supporting my family, I continue to pay a monthly rent of approximately ₹**,*** while waiting for the project's completion. My repeated follow-ups and emotional appeals have gone unheard, adding unnecessary stress and financial burden.
Unprofessional Conduct & False Commitments:
These oversights reflect a clear lack of technical expertise and quality control, particularly from Sales as well as the Design and Project Management. Payments were collected at various stages up to ***% based on incorrect or false commitments, which I have fully documented.

Unresolved Issues & Quality Concerns:
Despite the extended delay, several critical issues were encountered with the deliveries:
Faulty ply was supplied, lacking proper fabrication lamination. Instead, only basic paper lamination was provided (as shown in the attached image).
Wallpaper installation was unsatisfactory, with poor alignment and improper use of a single sheet for adjustments. Additionally, one sheet was taken back (see attached images).
The installation team lacked experience and offered very limited options for wallpaper selection, particularly in the GBR and KBR. Inappropriate colour choices, such as black and grey, were used—negatively affecting the overall design. When we requested lighter colours to improve the aesthetics, the team refused without offering any alternatives.
Cabinet handles were missing, and we have yet to receive any updates regarding their delivery or installation.
Silicon gel was not applied in many areas, resulting in a messy and unprofessional finish. There was also no evidence of proper packaging (refer to attached images).
Woodwork was left uncleaned—no thinner or vacuuming was used—which resulted in a dull and dirty appearance (see attached images).
The false ceiling was originally quoted to include putty, primer, and paint, but these were removed from the scope without any prior notice to the client. This led to unexpected additional expenses.
Incorrect measurements, especially for the beam wall, caused poor fitment and significant material wastage.
The bathroom's bottom cabinet was not installed due to sizing errors, creating a potential safety risk.
Wrong lamination was used in the kids' bedroom—a matte finish was applied instead of the requested glossy finish.
I strongly advise against engaging with Decorpot based on my experience. Their promises and commitments were not fulfilled, and working with them resulted in significant financial loss and emotional stress.
The quality of work was extremely poor, and much of the project was handled by third-party contractors who lacked the necessary expertise. Despite charging premium prices under the guise of a branded service, the final outcome did not reflect the investment made.
