I was chatting with Swiggy Customer Care and I wanted to upload a screenshot of their delivery status. Instead I uploaded a wrong screenshot containg personal data on the Help Chat Window. I tried to delete the picture but I couldnt delete it. I reached out to Swiggy on social media to kindly delete all the chat and screenshots for Order No ***********.
They first assured me they would. Later they let me know they couldnt delete my data . I told them I being a user I am requesting them to delete my screenshots for that Order No ,pictures which have no relation to their order. They told me my data is safe with them and to trust them. I told them I am not comfortable with storing my data with them since it was not related to them anyway. And i wanted it deleted. They refused to do so and they asked me for any compensation. I requested them to do what I had asked in the first place. This is a matter of serious concern why a customer request relating to sensitive data is not being taken seriously. Why shouldnt I be able to delete a wrong photo I uploaded . And why do I need to trust them to keep my data safe.?

I got my refund. You guys have really helped me when I needed it the most! Thanks again for your help :-)
