BESCOM - Power cut every day for 56 hours

I have been noticing that from past one week every day thereis power cut on working hours and sumtimes at midnight too. Every time I call **** for resolution they have the standard line " line cut in your area, maintenance is going on". My question is How many times in a week? Does it take * hours to resolve this everyday? Plus I stay in a rented flat paying **k per month and the owner has not provided UPS after several requests... In cities like Bangalore urban, if this is thr frequency of power cut I don't know what our government is doing with the revenue they make... Are they doing really anything for the people of this Country to provide facilities?
