Lost my HDFC Moneyback credit card, blocked it to avoid misuse. Chose to discontinue services after HDFC support centre confirmed that the points could be redeemed online within ** days of closure.
However after many attempts, my reward points worth Rs. **** went unused due to incorrect support from customer support. (Twice sent physically filled forms for Address Change & Voucher Redemption as per advice of HDFC call support)
Approached senior management team, after almost *-* months they kept hanging the matter with assurances over mail, but in the end a clueless executive calls and says the points cannot be redeemed now that its past ** days of card closure.
My two years of blood & sweat got valued finally with Voxya. I got a full refund with no hustle after they received notice.
