Hello, I have a issue with with my hdfc credit card, regarding this I forwarded many mails to hdfc bank and contacted hdfc support team there are not responding to mails and call. The response they are giving is not proper . Please find below mail "Dear Concerned,
This is in regards to my statement balance of the credit card number bearing ****************. I am associated with your bank for * years. My card credit limit was Rs. *****. Two years back, my balance on the card was Rs. *****. I paid Rs. ***** almost on that year only. For two years, every month I am making all my minimum payments every month. Please note I didn't receive even a single message regarding the minimum amount to my mobile number even though I registered my mobile number with the bank. For your reference, the registered mobile number is **********.
A month ago, I got a call from your representative informing me that my card is in overlimit, which shocked me. After thorough checking on my end, I figured out my card balance is around Rs.***** irrespective of my monthly minimum payments. I contacted support and tried to clearly explain the situation. I was told, a complaint will be initiated and even shared a complaint reference number with me. Even upon waiting for three weeks, I was not been contacted by anyone from your end.
I again contacted support, where my call got transferred to the supervisor. I was told they are sending the messages to my mobile but I have not received even one of them. He disconnected the call abruptly without hearing what I have to say. I called back again to talk to the supervisor. This time, as a helpless client all I has to listen to is the harsh talk and loud shouts from him.
On top of all this, today I received a call from the collection department and was told that my card balance is Rs. *****. Out of this Rs *****, Rs. ***** is of the late fee and remaining is of some miscellaneous charges and fees.
Being a valued customer of your bank, when I tried to reach you for help all I received is harsh talk and zero helpfulness. Isn't the responsibility of the bank to alert the customers regarding their payments and card information periodically? Doesn't RBI mandate the banks to keep informed their customers of the account information? How does one can have trust in your bank after this clear reflection of your response when a client in need of help contacts you?
I hope at least now the bank accepts its mistake and help me in resolving this issue. No response from the bank will leave me no option but to approach consumer court. I hope we need not take to that extent. "
Every day am sending emails like this to hdfc still they are not responding to mails and calls but they are calling me to pay minimum amount and I paid **** in July now they are saying my outstanding bill is *****.
They are not connecting calls to escalation team as well
Please help me solving this issue
