Siddharth Kalsi filed complaint against Airtel on Aug 13, 2021
I had made payment to Airtel on **th May which showed failed. However I made another transfer and the next day both the amount was credited into my Airtel account. After * months on *st July. Without my consent or discussion with me Airtel said that my credit card has raised a Chargeback request to take the funds back. Upon clarifying this on a conference call with Airtel and my Bank American Express, Amex confirmed that they haven’t raised any Chargeback request. Airtel debited that amount from my Airtel account and didn’t credited me back and said funds are with Amex. Amex gave a written confirmation to Airtel that we don’t have any funds received from Airtel. Meanwhile during this my dad had an attack early morning and I tried to call the hospital and my number was barred. Airtel had barred all * numbers that are in my family plan even if a dispute was raised against Airtel and it was pending from Airtel’s side to revert back. I wrote the same issue on Twitter and since one month AirtelCares team in following up with me but didn’t provide me any solution. Worst experience ever. After this issue is resolved I am definitely moving to Jio.
