Siddharth Nag filed complaint against Nobroker on Dec 31, 2020
This is with regards to the goods movement services that I had used from your company on **nd December ****. Just wanted to share a very candid feedback with you. Will keep the mail as short as possible.
Day of movement:
*. The Movers and Packers were supposed to reach at ****, they reached at **** after several reminders and follow up calls.
*. Despite giving a proper inventory list, they were totally unaware about what all was supposed to be moved. Also got a small Tempo to move the stuff, which was changed later on, again after giving multiple reminders.
*. They ran out of packaging material just half way through the packing. After calling the nobroker team several times and also calling the vendor directly multiple times, packaging material finally arrived at **** hrs, which again was inadequate.
*. They literally stuffed my household goods as they did not have an adequate number of cartons.
*. The cartons were of poor quality and were ripped from several sides, which was sealed using cello tape.
*. I had * two-wheelers, which were not packed, and loaded directly in the container. The packers assured me that they will pack the same in their warehouse and share the pics with me, which did not happen.
*. Only * people were assigned to perform the task and after multiple reminders the vendor sent * more people at **** hrs.
*. The entire loading was completed at **** hrs and I had to personally supervise everything, end to end, which included making the entry in their LR book and also writing everything in the Packing List.
Besides being highly inconvenient and tiresome, the entire process was extremely frustrating.
Day of Delivery:
*. Only * people came to unload the stuff and I had to personally help them with the unloading, which included picking up the cartons. My stuff so obviously I am responsible.
*. The Fridge which costs *,**,*** had dents in the front and side.
*. My brand new Activa had dents and scratches on the side.
*. Imported showpieces which my wife had purchased from Hong Kong, were broken.
*. Cups and plates were broken.
*. On unwrapping and starting my bike, I was shocked to find that at the time of movement the bike had almost **% fuel, which was reduced to almost *%. How did this magical vanishing act happen, I don't have any answer.
*. On unwrapping cartons we found that certain things that were packed in front of us seemed to be reopened and repacked. Result, my Versace Perfume was missing. I found only the box, no bottle. Again magic !!
*. Center Table glass was cracked.
I had insured my products and I am sure that claiming and getting the refund will be an uphill task and I don't even know if I will actually get anything. The reason I am sharing all this with you is so that you know what kind of vendors have been hired / partnered by your company. They seem to be petty thieves stealing petrol and perfume. Packaging was so pathetic that things broke. Don't know what kind of handling was done. I have attached some pictures herewith just for your reference.
This was my overall experience with your company, my first and my last. I will not be referring your company's services to any of my colleagues or friends (***** people working in my organization). I spoke to the relationship manager who assured me that something will be done, but have not heard from him yet. Is this the kind of service that you give to your customers when you tell them to sit back and relax, while you get the work done for them ? Have paid Rs.**,*** for the goods movement and Rs.**,*** for my car's movement (Thank God at least my car reached in one piece). Really disappointed with the overall service and I regret that I approached you guys for undertaking this movement.
