I placed an order on **th March **** on Amazon india via order ***-*******-******* for a hp ** gb pen drive worth Rs *** that was delivered at around * p.m on *st April ****.But to my surprise when I opened the package I saw that it was empty and it contained nothing in it.
When I contacted amazon customer service immediately via e mail to convey my disappointment.I was asked whether I required a refund or replacement to which I replied that I would like a refund,but as per amazon return policy any electronic item can only be replaced and not refunded to which I agreed to their only option thy they left me with.
But the next day I recieved a mail stating that I can't be provided with a replacement by quoting something out of the context by telling me to provide a proof of identity on the amazon portal.
I have also seen that the actual seller from whom I bought the product is Appario retail pvt ltd who is based in bengaluru who I tried to contact on phone but I recieved no response.I also sent a mail to their mail address (raman***@gmail. Com) *rd April stating the difficulty I was facing but no response this mode either.
Then I decided to approach Voxya Consumer portal after reading very positive results of the many who have filed their grievances.I hope this issue of mine receives a boost that there is complete mismanagement and utter disappointment in this transaction
