Delhivery - Package delayed even after being at the closest facility to Destination

I have bought a Keyboard from Kreotech B*C and they use Delhivery for their shipping, which I was not aware of before making the purchase. After it shipped, and it left the Bangalore facility to reach Hoskote facility of Delhivery, it was nearly **:**pm on *th October. Then, after many delays, the package arrived at the closest facility to the package destination, Dankuni, at nearly *:**pm on **th October. I now understand that it would be difficult to send it on that very day, so I was expecting it to be delivered at ** October, that is today. Now their tracking application shows it would reach me by **th October. But the destination I have chose is because I came back to that place for only one week, and I'd leave by **th October early morning. If it arrives later than that, I'd have to delivered again by another courier service to the place I usually work from. Why would I have to do that? The package, is now at facility which is literally at most one hour or two away from the destination it supposed to reach. How does it take over * days? Are the employees sleeping? It cannot take more than one day if they need to perform security checks.

If this was the case, I'd never made a purchase, because I had heard about mostly bad anecdotes from people about Delhivery as well. If I had the chance, I'd have never trusted, but it is a prepaid shipment, and it would be difficult for me to refund, unless there is some other influence, preferably legal, helping me on that regard.
