i had placed the order on swiggy mobile platform and the amount i paid online through paytm is Rs.***/-. i waited for the delivery for more than an hour. After waiting for this long, i received an SMS on my mobile saying that the order was cancelledstating that i failed to respond to the delivery executive's call. i haven't received any calls or any SMS from the delivery executive. Swiggy cancelled my order and informed that money paid by me has been charged aganist the cancellation. when i raised the issue on swiggy customer service, initially i was told money can't be refunded as its charged aganist cancellation. later try to paasify me by saying that half of the amonu will be credited to the swiggy account and i need to do KYC. When the delivery executive didnot called me and the location is very clear and pin pointly dircetd on the map, why i shpuld get half of my money to be refunded that to swiggy account. This injustice is not acceptable. swiggy nhad kept the customer waiting for a prolonged duration and also kept him hungry with an added mental trauma. I need my money to be refunded and swiggy to be reprimanded for its behaviour.
