I am sharing this experience to highlight a serious service failure by Amazon India.

This order was meant to be a birthday gift for a loved one, but what followed was repeated misinformation, false updates, and complete negligence.
On the delivery day, the delivery agent refused to deliver despite being nearby and falsely marked “Customer Not Available.”
After multiple assurances from customer support that delivery would happen within ** hours, the order kept showing “Out for Delivery” for days without any actual attempt. Eventually, it was cancelled stating that I rejected it — which is completely untrue.
Even the replacement order faced the same issue and was cancelled again without any delivery attempt.
I spent hours every day contacting support, faced unprofessional behavior, and received strong written assurances that were never fulfilled.
This resulted in mental stress, loss of time, and personal embarrassment, as the gift never reached on time.
I hope Amazon India takes accountability, investigates this issue, and ensures such experiences are not repeated with other customers.
