I had booked an Ola on **/Mar/**** in Bangalore. The driver called me up and asked me for OTP that came as SMS. He said that * rides are booked at a time, he needs to cancel the other. The cab location was showing as it is in front of my home but the cab was not there. Then the driver cancelled the trip. After a few minutes, I got a message regarding the cancellation charge of Rs **. Then I called ola customer care and explained the situation and asked for a refund. They said they will refund within a few mins when I saw it after a few mins the Ola money was * phone number and email id was changed (I didn't actually change). All this while the car was showing to be standing at my location in the app while actually, it wasn't there. They have tricked the app someway to show car is standing there. Then I saw Rs *** has been paid to PayUglobal from my ola money account (which I did not pay). This an Ola ride. From March **th I have been asking the ola team regarding the updates and they are saying they have filed a complaint against the driver. And they can't reverse the money back.
*) My question is how did the driver get my actual number. Is it not masked?
*) How is the location was showing that the cab was in front of my home?
*) How can Ola hire a fraud without a background check?
*) When the amount is been stolen by ola employee, If I raise the complaint the same day within a few mins after the incident took place why can't they give the money back? Is it not cheating from Ola?
*) On **th March when I raised complaint they assured that they will give the money back. After that when I called ola team every day they assured reimbursement of the amount in my account. And now how can they give a different reply?
Every time I call a different request is raised which again says * business days are required to resolve this issue.
