Xiaomi - Old product sold to me as poco F1 6gb ram 128 gb storage

A need was felt in May **** to purchase a new mobile.Due to overhype of redmi note * pro again i fell into wrong track.Then realised through number of feedbacks on overheating and glass plastic body that this mobile must not be purchased.What next ?.Poco F* came to mind as if one has to buy a brittle mobile then why not this one.As suggested by xiaomi customer care ,went to one mi home in rdc ghaziabad.
There i was given one blue color steel *GB, *** GB mobile of poco F*.Even prior to purchase i called up to xiaomi customer care and confirmed the rules of return process.In online you have two times replacement process and third time refund .But here too they convinced that you can replace till * days.
I got the product home finally.On overall setup,display looked dirty yellowish.I used contrast-color correction and moved slider to cool and things improved.On more usage and playing games,touch didnot look too responsive.Plus considering weak looking fragile plastic and glass body, i developed a negative feeling same day.
Anyways ,the problem of touch was heavily felt so i went back to same mi home and requested for a replacement.I noticed there that being at settings default color correction ,mobile for demo purpose was a perfect white display while mine was yellow.
However even in demo mobile same touch problem was felt.
There was not too much hindrance shown for replacement though mi sales and i was send to service center at rdc rajnagar ghaziabad near icici bank.There the service personel raised too many queries and subsequently accepted replacement on contact with mi sales and listening to them.
Before handing me new mobile,i was told that that is Oct **** stock.That made me inquisitive to ask then what was stock given as original ?."Same", replied the sales person.
How many stocks you have ? was my next query to mi home sales team.We have only * stocks ie two of October and another of September.
What to do or what not to do ??.I accepted an Oct **** one.Imagine in month of Apr. ****,they give * month old stocks to customers.
I inspected properly prior to purchase and covered camera lenses in particular in my inspection.But next day in broad sunlight i noticed some hardly visible vertical marks on partition that separates finger print scanner and camera plus some light smudges around fingerprint scanner giving an idea that mobile was used.I immediately reached mi home and requested for another replacement.I was denied and told service center person will check first.From there i went to service center.There was an argument of replacement without output.
Then i raised a complaint against mi home at mi customer care.I got an email to send pic.
Very carefully being aware scratches are visible in adequate light,i took proper care than scratches were visible in my pic.
On reapproaching mi home again i was told that replacement would happen only if mi service center agrees.
Next day with my family i again approached mi service center.With lot of if and buts finally personel made me believe that he will allow replacement for last time.
I waited but was unaware that he is making a fool of me.At last moment he said that he has no plastic bag stock and letter of approval without which replacement wont happen .He asked me to visit another service center located ** kms from there to get plastic bag and letter of approval.
I went and even there ,plastic bag was not available as per staff and they suggested for a third service center.
I called back to mi customer care and told them that this is what going on with me.
Mi customer care asked me to go and directly talk to mi home and tell them the constraint.
I did same ie again came back to mi home and explained about problem.They told me without packet and approval ,they wont accept.Even on calling mi customer care and getting them in touch with mi home,response of mi home was same.
Finally mi home told me that only authority who can give me packet and letter of approval is mi service center near icici bank RDC .
I reapproached there and told them that this is the problem.He asked me to wait for a day.
I told him that if i wait then time of raising return would get over due to * day policy.
Then he came to actual issue that problem is something else.Not only plastic bag,there is a matter of approval which he needs further..
This made me angry as whole day he made us running for one plastic bag and now saying that its not a root cause.By that time it was evening *pm and he asked me that he will call tomorrow if return approves.
In a very angry pace i came down the ladder of service center and threw my mobile with full force on road breaking its screen and body.Then i took this mobile back to him and told him that i finished the root cause itself.
Close the issue.
Irony is that next day again i recieved a call from mi customer care that contrary images send by service center have no scratches.
This is what my experience has been.
This is same company which sells million of mobiles in seconds and at same time that scrooge and miser for return.
I also had in mind to buy xiaomi air purifier for my dad which i have made up my mind to go for some other brand.
After reading this even if you feel that going for a xiaomi product may be a right decision then i wont stop you.I bid farewell to xiaomi in strong terms .I hope indians as fast learners will pace out of this brand soon.
