Spicejet Air Line - Not allowed to board the flight by Spicejet inspite of having all valid documents
Suraj Mehare filed complaint against Spicejet Air Line on May 20, 2021
I had booked a Spicejet flight from Pune to Port Blair PNR KB****.
The original flight had a layover at Chennai. However, for some technical reason, Spicejet had made some changes and rescheduled my booking as follow
Pune (T*) Monday, Apr. **, ****, **:** Hrs TO Kolkata (T*)) Monday, Apr. **, ****, **:** hrs
&
Kolkata (T*)Tuesday, Apr. **, ****, **:** Hrs TO Port Blair (T*) Tuesday, Apr. **, ****, **:** Hrs
According to Covid guidelines we had to carry a hard copy of the Negative RT-PCR test conducted within ** hours of the commencement of the journey. Considering the departure date ** Apr, we had undergone RT PCR test on **th Apr and board the flight from Pune(Reports are attached for your reference). However, we were not allowed to board the connecting flight from Kolkata saying that the report is older than ** Hours(Ignoring the long layover of **+ hours). This irrational process at Spicejet has caused a significant amount of financial loss and a great degree of inconvenience.
