I have Sony Bravia TV KLV-**W***Dwhich is of * years old and now out of warranty post my extended warranty which I had for * years..
I had an issue with sound and got it fixed by paying around **K during the month of Aug'**. Within * month of this fix, I had issue with display panel as well. The service center gave a quote of **K to fix the issue, With such frequent issue and cost maintenance I reached to Sony customer care toll and post that over email per advice from toll help desk( sonyindia.care@sony.com) and expressed my concern. With couple of follow-up, they proposed a exchange plan of **K for Sony TV of model **** (KLV-**W***G) citing non availability of part needed to fix the problem on *st Oc'** and expected confirmation from me with in * week (*th Oct'**) . I had responded back immediately on *rd Oct'** asking for some clarification and requesting if the suggested exchange plan price can be matched to the quote price of part service center had given so that I can take call on the offer suggested. The team did not respond to my emails post that ( in-spite of my follow-ups). After multiple follow-ups they responded on **th Oct'** indicating that the exchange offer is withdrawn due to non confirmation from my side. Post that they asked to log another request so that they can reconsider it. Post that I have been sending emails and talking to local service center but no out come yet and I am out of a TV since mid Sep'** ( ~ * months now).
I would like to get appropriate help on this with due action Sony India
