McDonalds - Non veg Item served instead of vegetarian

On **/**/****, I placed an order for a vegetarian Cheesy Mushroom burger at the McDonald’s outlet in Jaipur at Plot no.A* and A*,Ground and First Floor,
Shop No.G-** To **,Ground Floor, Sankalp, Index Mall, Mahal Road. The receipt clearly reflects a vegetarian order. However, I was served a non-vegetarian burger instead.

I am a vegetarian, and this is a serious issue involving food misrepresentation and failure of veg/non-veg segregation. I immediately raised the matter with the store.

The store manager acknowledged the mistake in writing and apologized, but no refund, compensation, or formal resolution has been offered, despite multiple follow-ups. Instead, I was repeatedly asked to visit the store again, which does not resolve the original lapse.

I also emailed McDonald’s India corporate, but received no response.

Despite:

Clear proof of vegetarian order (receipt)

Photographic evidence of the non-veg item served

Written admission of fault by store management

Repeated attempts to resolve the issue amicably

the matter remains unresolved.

Relief Sought:

Full refund of the order amount

Appropriate compensation for being served non-vegetarian food against a vegetarian order

Written confirmation of closure and corrective action
