No Broker - Non refund of payment even after cancellation of service

I had booked a service for home renovation with No broker in December **, for which they asked me to pay in advance Rs. ***** to kickstart the project. The project manager contacted only on *th January ****. He came for home visit and revised the original quotation. He did not provide any design alternatives just simply came up with a random quotation. As I was not happy with the revised quotation and also the way of working , I decided to cancel my plans for renovation itself. Only * site visit was done, not. work was started as I did not approve the quotation itself.
Now when I am asking for refund they are saying that there is a no refund policy unless you cancel within ** hours of booking. They have never communicated to me regarding this no refiund policy at the time of booking. So I have sent several emails to them for refund. But they are simply replying with standard response that there is no refund policy. I have lost Rs. ***** in this process and wish to get the refund back as I am not planing to take the service from No broker anytime in furure also.
