Yatra.com - Non cooperation by a tour and travel agency

My husband booked hotel tickets through Yatra.com for our holiday in the month of April. While booking was scheduled for the month of June he by mistake did it for July. The moment he received the confirmation he realised the same. So he immediately called contacted Yatra for help. Yatra people told that they did booking through Expedia and we need to contact them. Expedia after contacting them informed us that they can't change the dates as the system is automated. I really don't know this! Because I am wondering if a crashing plane can be saved by turning off autopilot then why can't a booking change? After this, we contacted the hotel. They said they are unable to make any changes unless it is instructed by the travel agency. For next entire week, the three parties involved and throwing the ball in each others court and no one takes the responsibility inspite of we made it very clear that we don't need any cancellation or refund! We think Yatra through whom we have booked the tickets could have easily helped in this especially when we brought the entire issue to their notice without any loss of time! They are simply robbers and enjoying our helplessness!
