I am an Airtel Broadband user from past *-* years. I was satisfied the service until the ongoing pathetic experience with the customer care and technical support team.
My internet stopped working on Nov **, ****. I raised a service request no. *********** on Nov **, ****. A technician was assigned and his visit was scheduled to my home. However, my internet started working on Nov **, and I informed the technician that he need not come and visit my house. Nevertheless, he insisted to check my router. While checking my router he made wiring changes, resolved someone else's issue on the phone and left. He mentioned that another team will resolve my issue. Since that day, i.e., Nov **, my broadband connection is not working.
I have repeatedly called the customer care since Nov **, however I always get new deadlines and promises which they fail eventually fail to deliver. I have even reached to the Appellate Authority via email, however, it did not lead to resolution either.
In frustration I even placed request to permanently disconnect my broadband connection on Dec **, ****. However, I have a ** months Advance Rental Payment plan till Jun ****, and I got to know that my advance payment won't be refunded. Therefore, I cancelled the disconnection request.
Now I am back to repeatedly calling and asking about the resolution with the customer care team. It has been ** days (Nov ** to Dec ** today) without a working broadband connection for which I have paid around Rs. ***** in advance for a ** month plan. I am somehow managing my work using mobile hotspot.
This experience has drained my energy, both mental and physical. It has also incurred extra costs in terms of commute to office for better internet connectivity, buying my wife extra data pack, and avoiding some team meeting or inability to participate conveniently in online meetings.
I seek a quick and prioritized solution for my problem from Airtel. I also seek compensation for the aforementioned losses that I have incurred along with mental stress and trauma.
