Medha Gupta filed complaint against Myntra on Jan 5, 2022
I had ordered a jacket from Mnytra for my sister. It was received by her at her residence. The jacket had a Myntra sticker stuck on it. We didn't think the sticker would be much of an issue since it was the company sticker. However she did not like the quality of the jacket and wanted to return it. I was traveling for work at the time and told her I would file for return soon since the return policy stated it could be returned in ** days. We however, made sure to take pictures of the damaged product immediately. Even though we didn't suspect that a Myntra sticker on the jacket itself is considered "damage"
When we finally tried returning the jacket on **th December, the pick up agent claimed that the jacket was failing quality check. I spoke to a Myntra representative who was as surprised as us on hearing that the jacket would fail quality check simply due to a Myntra sticker on it. They however took off the label from the jacket and on taking it off damaged the leather. I have proof showing that I received the jacket with the sticker on it. They keep claiming that "a ***% quality tested product was delivered". Ofcourse they won't intentionally claim to deliver a faulty or damaged product to a customer. Where is proof that they actually delivered a quality tested product or that a Myntra sticker on the clothing would pass the quality test from their side? This is beyond unacceptable and proof of horrible customer service and greed. They have completely closed my request and refuse to entertain any more queries or questions regarding my order. The jacket cost me Rs *,*** which is already so expensive and w huge part of my monthly income. I just wanted to gift my sister a warm jacket for these harsh winters but my gesture has come back to bite me. Not only did they ruin my gift, they are also ensuring that I lose my hard earned money because of their own fault. Please suggest or assist me if you're in the position of power to do so
