Akash Dwibedi filed complaint against Swiggy on Jan 3, 2025
I am writing to address the concerns regarding my recent order, which was canceled automatically despite my attempt to receive the delivery.
As i have investigated
To clarify:
I did not cancel the order myself.
I contacted the delivery executive using an alternative number when my primary number couldn’t receive calls. Despite my effort, the delivery was not completed, and the order status eventually showed "Canceled."
The delay in delivery (over * hour beyond the estimated time) caused inconvenience and confusion about the order status.
My address was absolutely correct.
I did give my other number in the delivery instructions as well.
I value the services Swiggy provides and believe this situation could have been resolved more amicably. It is disappointing to have been charged the full amount (₹***) without receiving the order, especially as I took reasonable steps to resolve the situation.
There are not any policy guidelines which I have violated.
