Keshava Gowda filed complaint against Trivial Chapter on Oct 24, 2025
Date of Agreement: **rd September ****
Service Promised: Overseas IT job placement in Italy + visa assistance (European Residency Program)
Total Agreed Fee: ₹*,**,*** (I paid ₹**,*** as first instalment on **rd September ****)
Service Period in Agreement: *–* months from signing (ending around **rd March ****)
Despite the expiry of the agreed period, no job offer or visa progress was provided. Multiple follow-up emails and calls to representatives Mr. Raja Munna and Ms. Nida Khanum and to the legal, finance, and grievances@trivialchapter.com of Trivial Chapter were made, but the matter was not resolved.
These representatives communicated with me through official Trivial Chapter channels, including: Email: raja@trivialchapter.com | Phone: +** ***** ***** Email: nidatrivialchapter@gmail.com | Phone: +** ***** ***** (Note: These contact details were used by them for official communication regarding my contract.)
On **th April ****, they sent a partial refund offer of ₹**,*** (₹*,*** deducted) with additional conditions that were not part of the original agreement. I rejected this and demanded the full refund of ₹**,***.
I wanted to resolve this amicably, so I approached National Consumrer Helpline - NCH (https://consumerhelpline.gov.in/) with my grievance (Grievance Number: *******, Grievance Reg Date: ****-**-**). NCH tried reaching them with multiple reminders, but the Trivial Chapter team did not respond to them.
I have now filed a Consumer Complaint before the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Mysuru (Case filed on *th June ****) seeking: Full refund of ₹**,*** Compensation for harassment and deficiency in service Status: Court notice sent via registered post to the company address has returned as it didn’t exist as per national post office of India. Subsequently the honourable court has sent notices via email; further hearing pending.
Purpose of this post: To alert job seekers to exercise caution and verify all commitments before engaging with any overseas job consultancy. After the court notices bounced back, I explored more to find out if they are a registered company in India and found out that they operate as proprietorship company in India, registered on *rd August ****.
If they do not respond to the court notices sent by District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Mysuru to all the Trivial Chapter email id’s that I have been communicating with, I will gradually pursue the case with Ministry of External Affairs, Portugal authorities, and EU authorities.

My two years of blood & sweat got valued finally with Voxya. I got a full refund with no hustle after they received notice.
