MANAS BALA filed complaint against Quikr on Apr 21, 2017
On **th of this month,i.e.,April,****,I received a call from Quikr.The person, who called himself Ajay Shankar,told me that if I spend Rs****,he will make my Advertisement Premium and his technical team would facilitate to sell my product within * days.In this context,I posted an Advertisement in Quikr in Free Advertisement category.The Advertisement was of a Gaming Computer that I wanted to sell.I was convinced by Ajay Shankar and paid Rs **** online. He told me that it was the charge of making my Advertisement Premium for * months.After my payment,I received a call from Quikr to verify my name,address etc,and then received a message in my mobile (**********),also an email stating that my Premium package has been activated.The benefit of this package is that my Advertisement would be in top * Advertisements for * months,and,my Advertisement will be tagged 'Premium'.But when I checked my Ad,I noticed it is neither staying in the top * Ads,nor it is tagged 'Premium'.My Ad is simply behaving like another Free Advertisement.I tried to contact Quikr ( both via email and phone ),but they don't reply my emails and giving no resolution over phone.So,I decided to post my complaint here to spread this hoax and scam of Quikr Premium Advertisement policy as much as possible.I want Quikr to refund my money ( Rs **** ) as soon as possible.
