SAMIRAN BANERJEE filed complaint against OYO on Oct 28, 2019
I booked * rooms for hotel at Goa at Hotel Sea Coin of OYO, and made payment of Rs **,***/- on **/**/** for the period **/**/** - **/**/**, booking Id ITCG ****. But after conversation with Hotel owner I came to know that there was no booking on my name as they were not taking booking for OYO from **/**/**. Now, then I contacted with oyo and demand for refund money, then one of their marketing manager Subhsree Chakrabarty had told me to cancel the booking so that they will refund the money to my Googlepay account within *-** working days. Hearing their advice, I cancelled the booking on **/**/** but now almost one month gone, I didn’t get refunds to my account.
I am very pleased with Voxya. They helped me resolve my issue without much hassle. Very impressed and satisfied.

Even after cancellation of booking. Money not refunded yet.
I have booked an Oyo room today and made online UPI payment . The transaction was successful, money was deducted from my account but in the Oyo app it still shows payment pending.
I was denied check in at an oyo hotel after having a confirmed booking, I was told to pay extra to get a hotel room directly without a booking.
