Hello,
I made a booking through Yatra.com on Mar **’ **** my account was debited but booking not confirmed. I again booked it and money debited. I thought the unsuccessful booking refund will be credit back in * days as per the policy for the UPI payment but it never happened till today. I approached Yatra.com on Mar ** and they issued one Payment Voucher for me and said it will credit to my account in couple of days. Then when money was not credit by that time I again shoot an e-mail to them they responded that it will take ** days to process the refund due to COVID-**. My question here is that when I booked there were no restrictions were implemented and banks were working properly then why they said due to COVID-** delay is there. As per the policy and the act the UPI merchant has to refund the money in * working days if they do not do that they will be liable for a interest of ***-***/day.
Then after chasing them with several e-mails they responded one day that it will take more **days to be processed which again never happened. It’ almost more than * months now and I am still waiting for the refund. Please tell me how to take this matter to the next level to show everyone how this cheap Yatra.com is doing with the customers. The same issue I heard from few of my friends and they will too lodge a complaint against the same.
I am very pleased with Voxya. They helped me resolve my issue without much hassle. Very impressed and satisfied.
