Gulal Salil filed complaint against Air India on May 10, 2023
I left my Sony Bluetooth headphones stored in a zipped, round black coloured box under seat number **C on flight AI *** on *th January. I had kept the headphones in their box under the seat.
The flight departed from Bhopal at **** hours and landed in Mumbai at **** hours on *th January ****. PNR: **XRU*.
Approximately ** minutes after collecting my luggage from the belt, I ran to the Air India office at the Mumbai International Airport and informed the staff about this incident. They could not retrieve the headphones then, but promised me to come back later. They informed me that they were unable to reach the security supervisor who overlooks lost-and-found related cases in flights.
Since then, I have visited Air India Mumbai's international airport office thrice, lodged two separate email grievances, written a twitter thread but haven't received a single positive response. Air India last replied to my tweets saying, "our diligent team is working on this on priority" on *th April. I got the same reply a month later after tweeting a reminder.
