Croma - Misleading Sales Denial of Replacement Wrong HP Victus Laptop Delivered by Croma

I recently purchased an HP Victus Gaming Laptop from Croma Mall, Jalandhar, with the following specifications: Intel Core i*, **GB RAM, *TB SSD, NVIDIA RTX ****. My purchase details are as follows:

Purchase Date: **st January ****
Sales Representative: Mr. Hargopal Singh
Serial Number: *CD***FC**
Delivery Date: *st February ****
Upon receiving the laptop, I was informed that it had been unboxed for inspection, and I confirmed there were no physical damages. However, after setup, I noticed that the SSD capacity was ***GB instead of *TB, which was not what I had ordered. When I raised this issue, I was told that this was the only available unit, leaving me with no option but to accept it.

On *st February ****, while using the laptop, I observed significant battery drainage. I immediately contacted Mr. Hargopal Singh, who advised me to adjust some settings or visit the service center. On *nd February, I visited Croma Mall and demonstrated the issue, where it was confirmed in front of the manager and CSD staff that the battery drained **% in just ** minutes. They assured me that they would send the laptop to the service center and inform me of the outcome.

After receiving no response for the next two days, I received a call on *th February **** from the HP service center (***** *****). The representative insisted that the laptop was functioning correctly and dismissed my concerns. This direct communication from HP, rather than Croma, raises concerns about transparency in handling my complaint.

Croma offers a *-day replacement policy, yet my request for a replacement has been denied without a valid resolution. I am not asking for a refund—I simply request that I receive the laptop with the exact configuration that I paid for.

I feel misled and harassed by this experience, and if this issue is not resolved promptly, I will be left with no choice but to take legal action against Croma for failing to provide the promised product and support.
