I had booked my AirIndia Singapore- Bangalore flight ticket from Make my trip (travle date -**th April,**** -* Passengers including * Minors).
Boooking date -**th Feb,****.
After booking the ticket within ** Hrs ,I realised the initials on the ticket ,of * Minors, is not extended as per passport ie for e.g in ticket its mentioned as "XXXXXX P XXXXX"but in the passport its mentioned as "XXXXXX P-------H XXXXX"...
So,when I raised it with Air India ,they said since I have done booking via "Make My trip",I need to contact them only for getting this change done.
Contacting Make my trip was another big task as they only have Chat bot which doesnt understand the excat issue and doesnt connect to a human agent..With great difficulty and atleast *-* call attempts and after doing lot of research on net,I managed to get through the Human agent,and he assured me he would help me with it and asked me to share the copy of passports with the required correction ..I oblige to that and shared details to MMT as required..
I also received an acknowledgement of my complaint (Ref -*****************),again after following up for ** Hrs,I received a rejection mail from Make MyTrip stating that Airline has rejected thier request.
Upon knowing this,I again contacted Air India but they kept repeating the same suggestion ie I need to get it done from Make my trip (MMT)only as I have done the booking through them,despite me telling them that the MMT has already rasied a request with Air india and Air India has rejected it,they still continued to give them same suggestion.
I clearly explained to them that its a minor correction and not a major name change for which I am also willing to pay a charge of $** per passenger ,which is officially prescribed on thier own website,(AirIndia),yet they rejected ,,only for the reason that I had done the booking via MMT...
I also explained that if Airline doesnot accept this minot change ,I am at the risk of "VISA REJECTION" or I will have to cancel these tickets which will cost me Rs **** per passenger ie Rs *****+ for * passengers & additionally around Rs *****-***** for re booking the * new tickets from them....But they denied taking my request and making this change even though,the travel date is * MOnths later + the passenger whose correction is required are both minors,travelling with parents ( parents names are matching and there is no issue with that).

Many thanks for your proactive approach and prompt action. This has accelerated and helped in resolving my issue.
