Maruti True Value — HARRASMENT AND CHEATING
I am writing this complaint with utmost regret and with mental agony that despite of continuous follow ups and requests regarding vehicle no RJ-** CX **** bought on ** April **** Maruti Celerio VXI AMT automatic, I bought the car from India’s most trusted brand name Maruti True Value K.P. Automotive Pvt. Ltd. dealership located at raja park vehicle no RJ-** CX **** on ** April **** with ***% advance payment via bank transfer a running kms. Of *****kms unfortunately, the vehicle has not been satisfactory.
Since I bought this car in April ****, there was a lockdown for *.* months and car not been used by us during this time, after that we were using the vehicle to commute within the city, we have given this car to the service center for first service check-up we requested them, there is a problem in car while auto shifting gear, car is making a strange noises and other issue regarding wheel noise while driving, we have clearly mentioned our concern with the service assistant Mr. Ganesh, he said that this is normal issue because it is an automatic car and deliver the car back to us.
Second time I asked to check properly again and they said there is a clutch wire damage and this has to be changed immediately, I said ok and paid Rs. ****/- as a part and service cost, that time also I indicated the same gear shifting issue as well as wheel noise issue but the service assistant said that they have checked it thoroughly and there is nothing to be bothered about if still the issue persists than they will cater it in next service.
Third time I again went to service station to drop my car personally with the same issue, this time they again checked and sent car without any information to my home. Next day again I complaint about the issue facing while gear shifting and tyre noise, next day a service guy came to home without any toolkit, he checked and he confirmed there is a noice and gear shifting issue.
*th March I was coming from office to home, and my car broke down in middle of traffic near ** godam sahkar marg, Jaipur, I have send a video clip of meter box to Mr. Ganesh (maruti service) showing red icon blinking and he sent a mechanic to check the car. With the help of traffic police, I was able to push my car to service lane and after an hour Mr. Dharam Singh, technician from maruti came and checked the vehicle, he said car fan not working, I need to send the car tomorrow to service station, on *th March again the car went for the service station and again came back on *th March **** stating that the issue has been resolved.
*th March ****, I was again coming back from office and the car broke down completely near gopal pura fly over tonk road,Jaipur, I again called to service engineer Mr. Ganesh, he again sent a pick up car, I locked my car near road side and the pick guy dropped me at home in his maruti van. Finally, that day I had to call to one of the senior person in maruti who is my old reference in Maruti and shared the entire story since I bought this car. No call was received from any of the maruti service team or department, After * days of continue follow-up with service team, I got a call from Shikha Arora from maruti service team and she asked me to pay Rs. *****/- to get this car repair completely and deliver to me, she was continuously asking for the confirmation to pay said amount on whatsapp chat, I said yes I will pay the amount and also requested to please deliver the car before Holi festival. On **th March when I asked her to deliver my car before Holi, she shared a contact no of Mr. Sandeep ASM service and said please talk to him, when I called Sandeep ji he said your vehicle gear box and some other item needs to be replaced defective and you need to pay Rs. **,***.
I would like to highlight some of the issue and need your support to understand the same: -
*. I am fail to understand what kind of quality checks are we following when the vehicle is sent for service, on the top of it Maruti True Value must be having strict procedures to check the vehicle condition before selling it off to any customer, by any means how can a vehicle need replacement of gear box while the vehicle has not run approx. **** kms in a span of * month.
*. Why I am not getting any clear response from the *st service regarding the vehicle issues.
*. It’s been more than ** days, my car is still at workshop, I am continuously following up for my car but still not getting any positive reply from anyone.
*. There is no alternative car offered to me by the service department till date
*. Yesterday **nd March **** I received a whatsApp message from Mr. Sandeep, stating that our K.P. Auto CEO would like to meet you, today **rd March **** I visited KP Motors Raja Park to meet Mr. Sanjay Didwani, he said we have to meet the customer and offer a tea that is why we called you to come, but after an hour he was no answer why he want to meet me, no conclusion.
*. Statement was, this is a Maruti production vehicle dealership cannot do anything in it.
I request you to please help me to get my car back in good condition as we don’t have any other vehicle
This is a very serious concern. Please look into the matter. Maruti is a company and we are shocked to see where the company is heading to.
