This is regarding my issue with the Airtel Store in Rudrapur (Uttarakhand).
I had walked into the store on **th February to purchase a phone number ( **********). The number was allocated to me by Shivani from the Airtel store, all details shared , activation done on the same day. I had the number under a family plan with Sachin Arora ( **********) address- omaxe Rivera , Rudrapur.
*st March, Airtel team calls me to return the number as they allocated the same number to some other customer and informs me that they will remove my details from the database. I requested the store not to give the number to other customer as I had already shared it for all my business purpose.
Please Note:- *st March afternoon, the number gets deactivated at my end and given to other customer, my personal details were removed from the database and all data was manipulated.
Reached out to Customer service, spoke to Shahrukh khan, Yunis, Mayur to help me with the issue as this has created business implications hampering my business but all in vain. I was told that the issue will be resolved within ** to ** hrs but the central team had all different information as the local team had manipulated all data from back end. The reason I say manipulated is because the lady from the store, Shivani, messaged me on WhatsApp that she will get my number deactivated from back end.
After numerous efforts and connects with the Airtel Team, Anita from escalation team called me to assist me with the issue. However she mentioned that only the local store can help me get the number back. The store manager, Sanjeev, calls me on *th March to inform that they cannot give the number And was pathetically rude. When I asked for the complaint number, surprising after numerous conversations with the Airtel teams, no complaint was registered on the system. This shows the efforts the customer team takes to resolve No complaint number shared by the team.
Data has been manipulated and wrong Information was shared by the store manager at Airtel’s end which is a serious offence and illegal. Wrong information was shared by the store manager that the sim has been handed over, which is still with me. Sharing screenshots for all.
I had requested Airtel to reactivate my Airtel Number ( **********) as i am facing severe business implications. No proper response from their end either on social media or email
