Spicejet Air Line - Made us to pay extra

As a passenger of SpiceJet Limited I am deeply disappointed and outraged by the experience I recently encountered at Kolkata airport, involving one of your employees, Abhisek Sarkar. During the boarding process of my flight, Mr. Sarkar abruptly informed me that I could not carry two bags as hand luggage and demanded a payment of approximately **** rupees. This demand was made under the threat that if I didn't comply, I would not be allowed to board the plane.

What baffles me the most is why such a rule was not communicated during the luggage check-in process? Why was I, as a passenger, not informed of this policy beforehand? Furthermore, it is perplexing to witness the inconsistency in enforcing this rule among passengers. While I was being coerced into paying this arbitrary fee, there were numerous individuals with three or four bags as hand luggage who seemed to go unquestioned.

This incident raises serious concerns about the transparency and fairness of SpiceJet's operations. Is this an airline or a scam disguised as one? Mr. Abhisek Sarkar's behavior was not only unprofessional but also downright rude. It is unacceptable for an employee of your company to behave in such a manner, resembling nothing short of local goons.

I urge SpiceJet to thoroughly investigate this matter and take appropriate action to rectify the situation. Passengers should not have to endure such mistreatment and exploitation under any circumstances. Additionally, I request a full refund of the **** rupees that were forcefully demanded from me, as this fee was unjustified and not communicated properly.
