I purchased a Mi A* ***GB from Amazon on **.**.****. A couple of weeks ago, the device suddenly stopped booting and the display's the below message.
"Can't load Android system. Your data may be corrupt. If you continue to get this message you may need to perform a factory data reset and erase all user data stored on this device." I have almost **GB of data in the device which I cannot afford to lose as It contains personal and very important data (photos several documents and files). I'm unable to take a backup as the device won't boot. I have approached a couple of Xiaomi service centres regarding the issue and they insisted on taking a backup and give the phone for service, which I cant do (device won't boot). I called Xiaomi Customer care several times and explained my case. Even they repeat the same thing. How am I supposed to take a backup, If the device won't boot? It clearly looks like a firmware issue. What is the point in buying ***GB Phone, If I lose the entire data without a warning?
I believe this should be a serious concern, not only for me but all the Xaiomi customers.
