MARSHI SAYYAD filed complaint against LG Electronics on Sep 15, 2021
On *th of Aug ****, we have called LG customer care for support as our refrigerator is not working due to electrical issue, up on service center technician arrived and confirmed that the motherboard of the said part was corrupted and informed us that he would order the part and it would take about * to ** days. After the said days we have called him and enquired about the status, since he doesn’t have update he then redirected us to office number. We called the office Shoba named person answered the call and said the email was sent to company and waiting for reply. We have called her plenty of times in next * weeks, we did not get the proper answer and she have forwarded to us Hafiz named person, he too made him call plenty of times but the answer is not satisfactory example. “He would say call me * days later I’m on leave, call me evening I’m somewhere else, I am looking into your issue” and most of the time he won’t answer the calls. And he made us call Ms. Shoba and Ms. Shoba tell us to call him. Mentally it is so stressful even make it loose control on ourselves. He, Mr. Hafiz then said he would give us ** percent of purchased value and we can choose similar refrigerator or he would refer any other refrigerator that currently worth of ** Percent of purchased value. But we have rejected his offer as that refrigerator he referring was not good enough for us. Then he asked us to choose any refrigerator and pay the differentiate value if any. We agreed to this proposal and went many stores in Rajahmundry and selected a refrigerator model number GL-T***JES* worth of **,***.** Rupees. and we have sent them the model number as they requested. Ms. Shoba then called us said the amount that we need to pay after deducting ** percent of original product value is **,***.** rupees. we were not happy however; we accepted the offer since it is being delayed wanted to end session. And also Ms. Shoba took the “happy code” from us saying the we need to use this code to complete your process, so we have provided her so called “Happy code”. But what Ms. Shoba and Mr. Hafiz did was that they used this code to close our file in their records for them to be clean from their outstanding issues. And then, they called us said, sorry to inform you that the said **,***.** is not for you, it is for someone else, further said we need to pay **,***.** rupees. we felt traumatized by double slandered approach of the company. We tried to reach Mr. Hafiz who have promised us ** percent. He given so many non-reasonable explanations and we said we don’t want your percentage all we need is the product part. If the part is not available in the company it is not our fault. We pay the compensation only for the part not for the entire refrigerator. He then sarcastically said it is up to you.
It is now about ** days without any solvation. The refrigerator is very essential household for us as we have small child in home and both of us working parents therefore our daily routine is so disturbed and clueless how to deal with the certain issue therefore, we have approached Voxya consumer complaints for help.
