Airindia express - Last minute cancellation of international flight

However, at the last minute, the flight was cancelled without any suitable alternative provided.

It took me several hours to finally connect with your customer care team, during which time I was informed of an alternative flight option. Shockingly, the details of this alternative were neither emailed to me nor processed correctly. Consequently, I had to spend several more hours on the phone with your customer service to arrange another flight for a different day.

What was supposed to be a mere *-hour journey turned into a grueling ordeal lasting more than ** hours, causing significant disruption to my plans. This inconvenience was particularly frustrating as I am an employee based in Dubai [UAE], who had planned to visit my home country for a short break. Due to your airline's negligence, my precious leave days were wasted through no fault of my own.

This experience has left me deeply disappointed and inconvenienced. I urge you to review your policies and procedures to prevent such mishaps from occurring in the future. Additionally, I kindly request compensation for the time lost and the distress caused by this situation.
